Battery Management Software That Keeps Every Vehicle Charged and Healthy

Battery management software for vehicles watches the battery in each of your vans and trucks, so you know the charge level, the health and any warning signs before a vehicle lets you down. It tracks state of charge, flags a weak or dying battery, and alerts you when power runs low. With AIQ Connect, all of it runs on your own server, under your own brand, with no fee per vehicle.

Live State of Charge

See how much charge every vehicle has right now, live on one screen. For an electric van you get the battery percentage and the range left; for a diesel truck you get the starter battery voltage. Watch the charge climb while plugged in and fall as the vehicle works, so a flat battery never takes you by surprise.

  • Live charge level and range for EV batteries
  • Starter battery voltage for diesel vehicles
  • Charge and drain shown on a simple screen

Battery Health and Degradation

Batteries wear out slowly, and a tired one strands a vehicle at the worst time. AIQ Connect tracks battery health over months, so you can see which batteries are ageing and losing capacity. Spot a pack that no longer holds charge, or a starter battery on its way out, and replace it on your terms.

  • Battery health and state of health tracked over time
  • See capacity fade before it strands a vehicle
  • Plan replacements instead of roadside failures

Low Charge and Voltage Alerts

A low battery is easy to miss until the vehicle will not start. AIQ Connect sends an alert the moment charge drops below your limit, a starter battery reads too low, or an EV needs charging before a trip. Each alert names the vehicle and the reading, so your team fixes it before the morning it matters.

  • Alerts for low charge and weak batteries
  • EV charge-needed warnings before a trip
  • Vehicle and reading on every alert

Charging and Fleet Reports

For an EV fleet, when and where you charge matters for cost and uptime. AIQ Connect logs each charging session and turns battery data into clear reports by vehicle or fleet. See charging patterns, spot batteries that keep running low, and match charge times to cheap power, all from data on your own server.

  • Charging sessions logged per EV
  • Battery reports by vehicle or whole fleet
  • Spot heavy users and off-peak charge windows

See Every Battery at a Glance

The battery screen shows a charge ring for each vehicle, green when full, amber mid-use and red when low. One look tells you which vans are ready and which need charging tonight. For diesel trucks the same screen shows starter battery voltage, so nothing gets left in the dark.

  • Charge ring per vehicle, colour-coded
  • Ready, in-use and low states at a glance

Get Told Before a Battery Fails

You cannot check every battery, so AIQ Connect watches for you. It sends a typed alert for a low charge, a weak starter voltage, or a pack whose health has dropped. Each alert names the vehicle and the reading, so your team charges or swaps it in time.

Turn Battery Data Into Longer Life

Every reading becomes a report you can act on. See the health of each battery, which ones keep running low, and how charging patterns change over time. Retire a failing pack before it strands a driver, and match charging to off-peak power, so batteries last longer and cost less.

Self-Hosted AIQ Connect vs Guesswork and Cloud Battery Apps

Most fleet battery management software is guesswork until a vehicle will not start, or a cloud app that bills per vehicle. Here is how both compare to live battery data on your own server.

FAQs

Battery Management Software, Common Questions

What is battery management software for vehicles?
Battery management software for vehicles tracks the battery in each vehicle, so you know the charge level, the health and any warning signs before it fails. It watches state of charge, flags a weak or ageing battery, and alerts you when power runs low. With AIQ Connect, all of it runs on your own server under your own brand, with no per-vehicle fees.
Does it work for both electric and diesel vehicles?
Yes. For an electric vehicle, AIQ Connect shows the battery percentage, the range left and the state of health of the main pack. For a diesel or petrol vehicle, it watches the starter battery voltage and warns you before it gets too weak to crank the engine. Both show on the same screen, so a mixed fleet is easy to manage.
What is state of charge and state of health?
State of charge is how full the battery is right now, shown as a percentage, like the battery icon on a phone. State of health is how much of the battery's original capacity is left after months of use. A battery can be fully charged but still have poor health, which is why AIQ Connect tracks both to give you the real picture.
How does it help prevent breakdowns?
Most battery breakdowns give warning signs first, like a charge that keeps running low or a starter voltage that slowly drops. AIQ Connect spots those signs and alerts you early, so you charge or replace the battery on your terms instead of on the roadside. That means fewer no-starts, less downtime and drivers who are not left stranded.
Do I need special hardware in each vehicle?
You need a device that can read battery data from the vehicle, which for many EVs comes straight from the onboard system, and for diesel vehicles comes from a voltage sensor or the tracker itself. AIQ Connect works with a wide range of this hardware, and our team helps you choose the right setup for your vehicle types during onboarding.
Can I put my own brand on it?
Yes. AIQ Connect is white-label, self-hosted fleet battery management software, so the platform carries your logo, your colors and your domain. Every charge reading, alert and battery report stays on your own server, not a shared cloud. You can even offer battery monitoring to your own clients under your brand, with no per-vehicle fees.
