Container Tracking Software: Know Where It Is and What's Happening Inside

Container tracking software is a tool that shows you where your containers are and what is going on inside them, like the temperature or whether a door has opened. AIQ Connect does this from your own server, so you never pay a fee for each container.

See Every Container on a Live Map

Your containers travel far from your office. AIQ Connect shows where each one is right now on a live map, plus everywhere it has already been. If a container stops somewhere it shouldn't, or takes a strange path, you find out right away.

  • Live spot for every container, all the time
  • A full trip history you can look back on
  • Alerts when a container enters or leaves a port or yard
  • Warnings when a container is late or off its path

Know Every Time a Door Opens

Every time a container door opens or closes, AIQ Connect writes down the exact time and place. If a door opens somewhere it should not, you get an alert right away. Most tracking tools do not check this at all.

  • Every door opening and closing saved with time and place
  • Instant alert when a door opens outside a safe zone
  • A full door history for each container
  • Extra protection for cargo that matters most

Watch the Temperature and Air Inside

Some cargo needs to stay cold or dry. AIQ Connect checks the temperature and humidity inside the container the whole trip. If it goes past the safe range you set, you get a warning before the cargo is ruined, not after you open the doors.

  • Temperature checked inside the container in real time
  • Humidity checked all through the journey
  • You set your own safe range for each container
  • Full records saved for compliance checks

Catch Rough Handling Before It's a Problem

Sometimes cargo gets damaged in transit and nobody notices until it's too late. AIQ Connect notes when a container is dropped, hit, or shaken too hard, along with where it happened. This record helps with insurance claims and shows where the rough handling took place.

  • Drops and hard hits recorded with the exact location
  • Shaking and rough rides tracked the whole trip
  • Instant alerts when a hit is above a safe limit
  • Full history per container for insurance claims

Every Container on One Live Map

Each container sends its location the whole time it travels, from the first pickup to final delivery. You can look back at the full path it took, and alerts fire the moment a container enters or leaves a port, yard, or other zone you have marked.

  • Live spot for every container you own
  • Alerts for ports, yards and stops
  • Warnings the second something is late or off track

Door, Temperature and Shock Alerts in One Feed

Every alert tells you exactly what happened. A door alert tells you which container opened, and where. A shock alert tells you how hard the hit was. Your team can act in minutes instead of finding out only when the container finally arrives.

  • Get alerts by app notification, text message or email
  • Door, temperature, humidity and shock alerts in one place
  • Full alert history saved with each container

Self-Hosted AIQ Connect vs Regular Container Tracking Software

Most container tracking software just shows you a dot on a map, using data from the shipping line. Here is how that compares to checking real sensors on your own server.

FAQs

Container Tracking Software, Common Questions

What is container tracking software?
Container tracking software lets you see where your containers are and what is happening inside them while they travel. Simple tools just show where a container is, using data from the shipping company. AIQ Connect does more. It connects to sensors inside the container, so you also see temperature, humidity, shocks and door openings, right alongside the location. Everything runs on your own server, and there is no fee per container.
How is AIQ Connect different from other container tracking software?
Most container tracking tools only tell you where a container is, using data from the shipping line. That does not tell you what is happening inside. AIQ Connect connects straight to sensors fitted inside your containers, so you get door alerts, temperature and humidity checks, shock alerts and GPS location all in one place. It runs on your own server with your own branding, not a shared cloud you pay for by the container.
How does temperature monitoring work?
Sensors inside the container send temperature readings to your AIQ Connect server the whole time it is traveling. You choose the safe range for each container or type of cargo. If the temperature goes outside that range, you get an alert right away, so you can act before the cargo is ruined. Every reading is saved, so you can show the records later if you need to.
What are door events and why do they matter?
A door event is any time a container door opens or closes. AIQ Connect writes down the exact time and place for every one. If a door opens somewhere it should not, you get an alert straight away. This matters a lot for expensive cargo, medicine shipments, or anywhere you need to know if someone got inside. Most container tracking tools do not check this at all.
Can my clients track their own containers?
Yes. Each client gets their own login where they can see the live location and condition of their containers, without calling your team. They see location, door history, temperature records and delivery status, all from one screen. It looks like your product, with your logo and name, not AIQ Connect's.
Does AIQ Connect work with any GPS or sensor hardware?
AIQ Connect works with more than 1,000 kinds of GPS devices, plus many sensors that check temperature, humidity, shocks and doors. If your hardware is not already supported, our team can add it. We also help you pick the right sensors for your containers and cargo when you set up.
