GPS is a satellite-based navigation system that provides location and time information to users in the form of three-dimensional coordinates. The GPS system is used by many different industries, including aviation, surveying, farming, forestry, mining and construction.

GPS tracking software is used for tracking people or assets. It can be used for personal safety or asset protection purposes such as tracking vehicles or pets. There are many factors that affect GPS tracking such as satellite positioning signal obstructions and other environmental factors like weather conditions

GPS is a 4-component system that consists of a satellite, GPS Tracker and GPS Tracking Software.

GPS Tracking Device

The device is attached to the GPS Tracking system to the Vehicle or the Asset

Satellite

The satellite transmits signals to the GPS Tracker which then sends the signal to the GPS Tracking Software.

Software

The software then calculates the device's location based on the time it took for the signal to reach it and sends it back to the user.

SIM card

Sim card with the Mobile data connection is required for sending and uploading the data on the server
